As me and my best friend Maddie peered down the hole, my stomach did a flip. "What do you think is down there?" I asked nervously. "Let's find out!" she screamed as she jumped down the hole. My eyes widened as her red hair was engulfed in darkness. "W-wait for meeee!!" I shouted as I followed her. I squeezed my eyes closed as roots snagged my clothes. I landed with a thump! crashing into Maddie. As she pushed me off, her eyes widened at what lay before us. Anais - Age 12

It was a long night for Jade last night, because her Mum got stressed about dinner and couldn't get it out of her mind. So Jade had to stay up all night with her, and now she is going to be late again - she sighed. But she hasn't been introduced to her new friends yet.

"Here we go again," she said, knowing what the teachers were going to say.

As soon as she got to school, a group of four children were gathered. She asked what they were doing, and they said: "

Oh we're just saying how long we stayed up, helping our parents," a girl said.

Jade thought that was sarcasm, but it seemed suspicious... Ivy

There was this strange alien called 'Slime-boy' and it's species was called 'Alien-sick'. His special power is mind reading and he uses it like this : Holds out one hand and the other on the side of his forehead. It looks like slime, sounds like bells but smells like books. It wants to visit the Earth to make friends with lots of humans but unfortunate for him, he only makes friends with 5 kids and 1 cat. They're Alisha, Jayden, Grace, Levi, Tyler and the cat is Hugo. I was getting bored in my science lesson, reciting the 299 planets in our solar system. My mind was wondering about my best friend, Hatch, and his five broken legs. When would he play spagball again? My eyes were drawn to the “dark corner” that we were forbidden to approach. The headteacher’s younger brother ventured there and was never seen again. I found myself crawling alongside the wall and peering down into the abyss. “Weeeeeeeeeeee!” I took flight. When I woke, the sky was blue! I could see things with two arms and two legs. Where was I?! Lois - Age 10
